Anna is a Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing since 2021. She completed a combined Master of Clinical Psychology and Doctor of Philosophy with specialist research focused on examining the role of loneliness and belonging as a risk factor for suicide.
Anna has experience across clinical settings in Perth, Western Australia, and Hobart, Tasmania. She brings key clinical experience from working in the public mental health system in Western Australia, including an Adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit, and an intensive Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Program. Anna has spent the last two years working part time in private practice, and part time with the Tasmanian Statewide Mental Health Service in one of the adult continuing care teams. During this time, Anna has acted as the DBT group coordinator and was instrumental in restarting this therapy group which provides gold standard evidence-based care to people with Borderline Personality Disorder, and related difficulties with emotional dysregulation.
Anna readily works with adults and adolescents (12+) presenting with a wide-range of concerns. Particular areas of interest include, but are not limited to, working with people with a history of trauma, including veterans, in addition to mood disorders, anxiety and psychotic illnesses. Anna works across evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy. Anna also offers assessment services including comprehensive mental health assessments (including diagnostic clarification), Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
